You've Been Bugged.
George saw you. Now take the pledge — only you can keep the rivers clean.
Scanned a Can U Canoe sticker in the wild? You've been officially bugged by George. That means you're on the hook now. Read the pledge. Sign it in your head, out loud, or on paper. Then pass a sticker on to the next paddler.
The Paddle Clean America Pact
On my honor as a paddler, a swimmer, a hiker, or just a human who likes the water:
- I will pack it in and pack it out. Every wrapper. Every can. Every strap.
- I will pick up what isn't mine when I see it in the current.
- I will read the river before I run it, and I will respect what lives in it.
- I will bring one more person to the water and teach them the same.
Only you can keep the rivers clean.
