10% of every order goes back to the rivers. Not "up to 10%." Not "a portion." Ten cents on every dollar, off the top, before I pay myself a nickel.
Here's where it goes, in the order it's going.
1. Poudre RiverFest & Poudre Riverkeepers
My home water. The Cache la Poudre runs through Fort Collins, and the folks at Poudre Riverkeepers keep it fishable, paddleable, and drinkable. Cleanup crews, water-quality monitoring, community education. I volunteered at RiverFest on Aug 8. That's not the last time. A share of every order supports their work directly.
2. Junior River Rangers
Kids sign a one-page pledge — pack it in, pack it out, tell a friend, respect the water — get a sticker, and become part of something older than they are. The pledge is free. The stickers are free. The idea is that a nine-year-old who signs a pledge grows into a nineteen-year-old who picks up somebody else's trash without being asked.
We fund the printing, the stickers, and the school and camp partnerships that put pledges in kids' hands.
3. Signage & access-point cleanup gear
The boring stuff that actually works. Trash bags at put-ins. "Pack it out" signs at boat ramps. Bins where there aren't any. It's not glamorous — it's the reason the water stays paddleable a year from now.
4. Regional partnerships as we grow
As CAN U CANOE expands beyond Colorado, so does the giving. Pacific Northwest, the Great Lakes, the Southeast — every region we ship into, a local river group gets a piece. I'm building the partner list one call at a time.
How it works, plainly
Every calendar quarter I total up the sales, cut 10% off the top, and split it across the four buckets above. I publish where the money went — dollar amounts, dates, receipts where the partner allows — so nobody has to take my word for it. First report drops Oct 1, 2026.
The tagline is a promise
Only You Can Keep The Rivers Clean. That's on the merch. But it's also the deal. You buy a tee. I move 10% of what you paid to the people doing the hard work. You wear it. The next paddler sees it. The message spreads.
Simple. Honest. George would approve.
Paddle On,
Anthony Byrd
